Easier
hard and insane modes:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy
of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "icewind.ini"
file in the game directory. Change the "Suppress Extra Difficulty
Damage=0" line to "Suppress Extra Difficulty Damage=1". This eliminates
the 150% and 200% increases to monster damage (and experience points) on
the hard and insane difficulty settings.

Options]" section. Start the game and press [Ctrl] + [Tab] to display
the console window. Type "GETYOURCHEATON:EnableCheatKeys();"
(case-sensitive) to enable cheat mode. Then, enter one of the following
codes while playing a game to activate the corresponding cheat function:
